What am I actually trading?

The live probability of a Polymarket market, a number between 0 and 1. Going long means you think that probability climbs; going short means you think it falls. The house takes the other side, so there is no order book to fill against.

How much leverage can I take?

Up to 10x. At that level a 1% move in the odds is 10% of your margin, and a 10% move against you liquidates the position.

One percent of your margin when the position opens and one percent when it closes. There is no spread, no funding rate and no withdrawal fee.

Can I lose more than I put in?

No. A position is liquidated once the odds move 1/leverage against you, and the margin you posted is the most that can be lost.

What happens when the event is decided?

When Polymarket resolves the market, every position still open settles at the final price, 0 or 1. If the market closes without a resolution, the last mark price is used.
